CONFERENCES IN VDU: LUSOPHONY - THE UNIVERSALITY OF THE PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE AND CULTURE

These presentations concentrate on the universality of the Portuguese Language and Culture where the Lusophony concept serves as the binding factor of this modern position of Portugal and all Portuguese speaking countries. Starting with a historical perspective of the concept, we intend to present the most interesting aspects of contemporary cultural and linguistic view, supported by the presentation of photos, films and music.

All sessions will be under the responsibility of Nuno Guimarães, lector of Portuguese at Vytautas Magnus University and Cultural Advisor of Portuguese Embassy in Lithuania.
